Silos Estate is COVID Safe

COVID-19 MEASURES

At Silos we want to take all reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure a safe workplace and visitor experience.

In light of updated government announcements this week, following is an update on steps we are taking to comply with current government guidelines.  This replaces the updates we announced on 14 & 23 March, 1 April and 1 May.

CAP ON CELLAR DOOR VISITORS (ALL PERSONS)

Under current government guidelines, we are permitted to have a maximum of 10 persons indoor and 10 persons outdoors at a time.  From 1 June this is expected to increase to 50 persons indoor (and an as yet to be specified number outdoors). Until further updates, we are applying the cap of 10 persons indoor, and 10 persons outdoors

VISITOR PROCEDURES (ALL PERSONS)

Based on current government guidance, we ask all visitors to:

  • 30 use hand sanitizer on arrival (provided)
  • not share glasses, cutlery etc. outside their immediate group
  • maintain social distancing (1.5mtrs) outside their immediate group
  • please consider having the ‘COVIDSafe’ app activated OR please sign in on arrival
  • cover your mouth using a tissue (or crook of arm) when coughing/sneezing and sanitize immediately
  • avoid touching your face, eyes, nose and mouth and where having done so, sanitize immediately.

QUARANTINE REQUIREMENTS (ALL PERSONS)

If you are subject to self-quarantine directions (e.g. returning from overseas within 14 days) or in close contact with anyone who has a suspected/confirmed case of COVID-19 you must not attend the site.  If you do so, you must leave immediately, and continue your self-isolation for 14 days.  We strongly recommend that you urgently consult a medical professional

If you feel unwell or has a fever, cough, sore throat, headache, runny nose, tiredness and/or shortness of breath you must not attend the site.  If you have any of these symptoms here, please leave the site immediately and urgently consult with a medical professional.

CONSEQUENCES FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY (ALL PERSONS)

Failure to follow this policy may result a request to leave and/or quarantine from site.  In addition, you should be aware serious financial penalties also apply from the Federal and State Governments for failure to follow government guidelines in relation to slowing/stopping the spread of COVID-19 for both visitors and our team.

We are monitoring the situation closely and will continue to be guided by information and directives from the World Health Organisation, the Federal Health Department and state health authorities and will update this policy no later than 30 November.
